Back before WW2, mankind had only flown airplanes for less than 30 years. The military didn't know any thing about the entities they saw while flying back then. They called them ' foo fighters', then they called them UFO. It's been this way ever since.
Now, when I hear that it's the governments job to tell us, I say it's the clergies job.
As most of the UFO, "are spirit". It's really just that simple. Over time, there will be so many sightings, that the clergy will have to explain this.....

@MrkBO8 For example, what you have at 1:28 is the shadow from the plane on the top right as it goes up. The shadow moves along the trail due to the angle of the two planes changing. Check other smoke trail plane shows like this and i guarantee you will see another shadow.
Its called being OBJECTIVE.
