"If we don't have good pay, the kids are never going to benefit in the long-run." No...If all teachers are rewarded the same regardless of whether or not they're doing a good job, then we're not helping the kids. And when good teachers face the consequence of being ousted by teachers unions and perhaps losing their jobs when they speak out about the harm being done, then our school systems continue to be harmed and the source of harm continues to gain power.

By "equality" and "rights" they mean they are entitled to have their bloated pay and benefits funded regardless of the economic situation the rest of us are in, even if it means passing on debt to future generations. This minority entitlement class does not represent the real middle class of America. Seeing these idiots on parade should motivate parents to look for other alternatives.
