@MrTrolWut it wasn't recognizing javac even after installing but i fixed it now. it turns out in the system variables section there was already one called path that was something to do with quicktime. so i deleted it.
guyz there is another way rather shortcut to avoid setpath
go to cmd see the default address as in here it is C:\Users\Greg while installing jdk it will ask you the folder location set this location in there...
you will never have to setpath again....
many people say that it slows down pc but believe me it is not true...
@Makeme0210 mac comes with JDK preinstalled so you do not need to download anything!!! just go a head and start programming!
