All you people need a history lesson on the "Civil War" and if some of you are actually smart enough to read then pay attention. When the civil war first started it had nothing to do with slavery at all. The south had already made the confederate flag or properly called "Battle Flag" by the time slavery was brought in. The reason it was brought in is because the North wanted to use their slaves as allies to win the war. So in turn for fighting they were set free. Short simple version.
