I love Tony Bennett but I still believe that the definative version is sung by Morgana King.

This was such a tough chart cuz it was done with mostly drums & percussion. So I think Buddy is just pay attention to Tony and his singing!! Who was the SCHMUCK THAT DIDNT LIKE THIS!
-
poor Buddy, looks so bored. He only loves doing the most complicated pieces which are his own original solos.
-
who the hell cares what buddy wants here ?......everything ain't about that that little bullying twirp of a bully....it's the tune man....and tony lays it down nice here...bravo tony !!!
-
Buddy is totally pied off here!
I remember him comenting on that apperance when he was appearing at Ronnie Scotts Club that same tour,To quote him"The tempos kept getting slower & slower"Buddy did'nt like playing ballads that much as is obivous here.Still i love this concert as i recorded it when bbc b'cast it .(sorry don't have spell check turned on)

I didn't want to like this cuz I have Eartha Kitt's version in my head, but Tony really knows how to put a song over... So, is that his real hair?
-
buddy!!!!

Mr Bennedetto, an American classic. His version from "Beat of My Heart" 1956 remains the definitive in my alledged mind, even though Kay Ballard's Broadway original is hard to beat.

Have you heard Regina Belle"s rendition...AMAZING!
