My 07 XL883 Sportster with Harley's new 50 state street legal Screamin' Eagle mufflers. Cycle Shacks were too loud for me. The SE SP mufflers are just right. Nice rumble. Sounds too good to be legal, but they are.

  • I love the sound of the exhaust, i just bought my first harley and looking to put some screamin eagle pipes on my 09 xl 883l and i was wondering did you just put the pipes on or did you remap it or put a different air intake in?

  • @babytaz001 If you get the Street Performance muffs like these no remap is necessary unless you get a SE air intake too.

  • @Gary7even Thank you for you help and he video now im positive i want the screamin eagle muffs, did you get a SE air intake on these?

  • @babytaz001 Nothing but the muffs.

  • Christ!...You 'crotch rocket' jockeys just leave us alone! Your bikes are generally used for just as much 'posing', as the average HD is! I've surprised many a 'sports' bike rider on my HD 1200 Roadster. It's all a bunch of crap! We're all 2-wheeler riders together...for the love of God, please just stop calling one another!! It's the zombies in cars at junctions, that's our worst enemy!

  • Just curious why you visit a Harley video if you find them annoying? There are plenty of the rice burners on YouTube that may be more fitting for you!

  • @babytaz001 Dont wast your money on SE parts, there are better and cheaper exhausts out there.

It was a 3/4. And ear plugs would have cured the problem. In warm weather I now wear a 1/2 with plugs.

Thanks for your response. What type of helmet was causing the low frequency resonance? And would ear plugs have helped your situation?

    Ride safe.
