He pressed his hands forward again, together as a fan or shell. Nothing, I said. I don't have anything. He pouted and nodded sullenly. Eh? he grunted, pointing at my guitar. No no, I shook my head. I need this. This is mine. Eh, he nodded again. Then, slowly, he turned his scrawney frame away from me and trudged through the sand towards my camera, which he grabbed haphazardly and galloped away with.
