Japan was hit by earthquakes and tsunamis and radioactivity.
The first time I tried to speak in English.

震災後、海外から多くのコメントをいただきました。私や家族、日本のことを心配してくださる方からのメッセージがたくさんありました。私は岡山に住んでいるので影響はあり­ませんでしたが、世界の人々の優しさにとても感謝しています。しかし、中には心ないコメントもありました。「野菜で楽器を作るなんてばかなことをしているから日本がこんな­災害に遭うんだ。」「その野菜は放射能に汚染されている。」悔しかったので今回は海外向けに英語でコメントしました。曲もチャップリンが作曲、後にマイケルジャクソンらが­カバーした「スマイル」にしました。今回は日本の方にもたくさん見ていただけたようなので感謝しています。（５月４日、日本語にて補足説明追加）

Your English is fantastic. You sound a bit deeper than when you are speaking Japanese. I'm English and I would really like to learn Japanese. I really like Japan.
