  • Your flying staccato is much more epic than mine

  • thats cool.

    i love your clear play..

  • Sorry, his name's Fedor Roudine. I thought being Moscovite, it was Feodor. If I could criticise anything, it'd be the "Intro". Here it could be just a bit more lyrical, as was the French style of the time thus giving a sweeter contrast between the French Intro and the Spanish Rondo. I was 1st introduced to this work by a veteran Spanish violinist in 1977 who gave a really sensitive performance and called the work a French-Spanish marriage. Well done, Fedor! Maybe see u at The Proms one day?!

  • @malikrox. I'm not sure if I'd agree - this IS meant to be a Spanish dance (composed for Sarasate) & there are spanish influences, especially in the 2nd subject of the Rondo, and St-S did call it "capriccioso", which in Spanish suggests a certain vibrance which I think Feodor captures really well here. Janine Jansen takes this at a similar tempo, with the same sparkling results. It's to Feodor's credit that he can perform at this tempo and with such virtuosity! He will go far!!!! Bravo!!

  • Amazing dude! Your bowing is fantastic!

  • i agree, the dance section is a bit too fast. Still a great performance though. hard piece.
