  • Well thank you for that; most enlightening!

I am now 45 and I acutaly bought one of those brushs that they sold back in the "OLDEN DAYS " GEE that must have been about 20 years ago, and you were probably you were wearing the "CLOTH DIPPERS" you now use to clean your reccords with back then. You young wipper snapper !

  • The best "medium" is a vacuum record cleaning machine like Nitty Gritty or VPI or make your own to save money.

Record brushes are still available and they are much better than a diaper or a t-shirt because the brush fibers reach into the groves where the sound is.

  • @azntranc3951 I bet the DJ guy in this video can't hear a thing, must lost 90% of his hearing during his DJ career.

  • @ken748647

agreed ! I used a clean microfiber cloth and it scratched my record ever so slightly. You bet I was pissed :(

  • I don't believe that furry cloth is not going to damage the vinyl.

  • erm,like.erm.wow dude. totally awesome. what u tokin bro ?

  • I've created a neat method that works well for me... A thin line of dishsoap (non-moisturized) around the record, then hold it under warm (NOT HOT!!!) water and lightly use a VERY soft toothbrush and scrub with the grooves. After - dry with coffee filters. They are completely lint free and you can use them over and over. Obviously a lot of care must be taken to hold the record properly and to not get the label wet.

  • Hey you! Want to be stoned all day and give bad advice to people? Become a DJ for expertvillage!

  • The old Discwasher (NOT the new one) is an awesome brush, but based on the pattern of dust on his brush, he's probably using it backwards. No wonder he prefers a diaper. Someone stop this guy!

  • the brush you are using comes with discwasher

  • A medium can put you in touch with the dead, something I think our learned friend Studebaker Hawk knows all about

  • is he high?!
