i was at the gate when the bomb whent off. it was indeed a very loud bang :)

I was 200mtrs away ! This was the loudest wake up call I've ever heard ! August 31st 2007,( at Kabul Int'national Airport (KAIA). A piece of shrapnel landed just behind me after I ran outside in my underpants. Still have it (somewhere ?)! Left a nice crater too.
