if chevy customers deserve the best then why did chevy go back to drum brakes just 2 years ago on the rear of their trucks? and why is it that the front bumper on the chevy is only in the center?..those caps on the end are just that ,,end caps

so the same guys that came up with mocking Ford's "I don't wanna have to take a flying leap off the tailgate and maybe slip on the icy concrete and break my ass, so I attached a folding ladder and grip post to the tailgate" "MAN STEP"...they came up with "I don't want to lift my tailgate up and strain my manly biceps, so I put in a spring-loaded torque assist"? Wow, Chevy. Just wow.

Chevy if your going to do it, do it right. And stop copying the Nissan Titan, Titan was the first 1/2 ton truck to have wide open rear doors, and they removed the B-pillar to make it easier to get in you idiots did it half ass .Chevy's cargo management system is crap compared to Titan's Utili Track system. Your E-Z lift sucks too, why does the tailgate slam down when you open it, once again Titan's got you beat, their tailgate Dampened Assist let's you open and close the tailgate with ease.

I am a Dodge, Chevy and Ford guy. I have had (and still do) all three! But I have to agree! Chevy got there Ideas from Ford, Dodge and a few others. The Chevy is so "old tech" Its no wonder they pay "Howie wish he was long" to do the ads. You cant make it big by making fun of the competitors alone, and that's the way Chevy does it! Ford may have the smallest motor (5.4L) but I will buy one over a Chevy just based on Chevy's out of date tech. I am buying a Dodge Ram soon! but love the Ford too!

I don't dislike the Silverado! I have owned two since new, a 2004 and later a 2007 LTZ. Despite some issues, as with most vehicles, they have been decent trucks for me.I'm just calling a spade and spade and if that offends you that's a shame.All I'm saying is that the tailgate assist was lifted entirly from the F-150.I don't understand why that would offend you?

First, the torsion bar in the rear tailgate and the power windows in the extended cab configuration are stolen from the F-150. Second, this is not the only extended cab with doors that open 170 degrees! The Nissan Titan's do also.Third, the F-150 is roomier than the Silverado in all configurations.
