Media Offline Problem

Okay, so just in case the video isn't clear or whatever, here's the scope:

Basically, every once in awhile, I'll be editing, everythings going good, I'll go to get a certain part of a clip and KERBLAM!!!! That part suddenly goes missing then the clip keeps playing later on. Now this can get really, rather frustrating, especially since I have played all the clips that this has happened to in various media players and nothing like that ever happens. And sometimes the clip plays fine in SV...anyway, if anyone has any idea why this happens, or maybe how to fix it, that would be awesome! ^^

I got rid of this problem by installing the newest K-Lite Codec package and uninstall something called Morgan M-JPEG Codec. all of sudden I was having "media offline" messages and my clips were missing. So after uninstalling the Morgan codec, all was good again.

I have downloaded K-lite Codec and installed it but I still have the same problems : ( ... I didn't know where I could find the Morgan M-JPEG Codec on my computer so I didn't uninstall that..( could that be the cause?)

Which operating-system do uve got? 32-bit or 64-bit - version? D:

try reloading Vegas, ive had this fucked up problem once, too o_o but then it worked fine after restarting..
