TTC#37 Hubby's 3rd SA Results

Going over the results for my hubby's 3rd Semen Analysis!!! We were wondering he effects of the Fertilaid for men!!!!!

It seems like maybe that 99% is of the defective sperm, not of all the sperm in the sample. You said the index # is the number of defects per defective sperm, so adding up the numbers for each defect seems right around that 1.3.

thought that at firs too... but i was told that the 99% comes from the total amont.... NOT just the defective ones.... I was told this by my GP.. and not my specialist... so I'm hoiing that the next time I see my RE she can clarify!!!

girl youre going to get pregnant this month, i think its a godsend your surgery was rescheduled, because i bet you end up preggers before then!!! woohooo! good luck!

we were given 1 number 2% morph, told that IVF was our only option and that we had a 15% chance of concieving on our own in the 3 years following that SA.

My husband has poor sperm also. We have to do ICSI.. along with my donor eggs..

yeah, we're a hot mess.. ugh...

BUT the good news is that you can still use your hubbys sperm...you just MAYBE will have to do ICSI.

That is so true, same thing in Alberta where i live, lots of people dont even have a family dr. But if i were you Amy i would take to your dr next time to help you understand all those numbers, im happy to have a great dr.

On my serious note... I just was sooo excited about going to a specialist... so that the weight of all this could be taken off my back and given to her...... but it hasn't b/c I can't trust what she's telling me. I'm going to give her a call tomorrow, and ask her to explain things to me.
