Huge Pickeral Slams Frog on Hat Cam

Was bass fishing with a white 5" senko when a fish came out of the water as I was ripping the line in for another cast. Figured I'd throw the frog on quickly to see if she'd hit again. pickerel are walleye,that was a pike ppl.I mean no offense and good vid but its a pike.

It is 1000% a chain pickeral, not a pike. Walleye are not Pickeral nor Pike. Walleye are actually more closely related to Perch than Pickeral or Pike. Nonetheless, the fish caught in this video is a Chain Pickeral.

@trouttracker13 My grandfather caught thousands of them on Red Devil spoons. Generally they hit the same lures that Bass hit... Spoons, senkos, spinners are what I use... many surface lures work well to. They like the same kinds of cover that bass do too, but they're not as shy about shallow or fast moving water. I think it comes down to population too. In the river I fish they outnumber bass 10 to 1, so I catch them all the time. In the deeper, slower creeks I catch mostly bass.

@trouttracker13 : Anything that resembles a perch. Try a rapala shad rap model in perch design...its like candy to them
