@smittyboyify It's worth noting that Bela Fleck and The Flecktones, Victor's main group, is half white and half black. I doubt he gives a crap about race at all. Incidentally, I'm pretty sure he is the best bass player in the world, and Bela Fleck, who is white, is the best banjo player in the world. But because they don't care about race, the work together to make the craziest music I have ever heard.

Im very familiar with Victors stuff...this video I commented on is really nothing more than showmanship. there is nothing musical about it  If thats the type of playing your into than more power to you. as for his other stuff, some of it is ok, but again when I think of bass players I enjoy listening to guys like victor are not on my short list.
