HAITI DAY 6 - NO U.S. MEDICAL HELP - ONLY ISRAELI'S OPERATING EQUIPPED MEDICAL TENTS

MONDAY, 1/18/2010 - CNN Elizabeth Cohen, medical correspondent reports HONESTLY that only the Israeli's are helping medically, and people are dying who don't have to. What is the trick? Wait long enough so there isn't so much to do? I feel the same anger that I felt during Katrina.

What is going on, again?

This is not about bottle-necked roads. The United States manages to drop bombs, leaflets to threaten their "enemies", or candy to the children of "enemies". They COULD have lowered great amounts of food and water in the first few crucial-to-life days. They waited until day 4 to lower a very little bit of water... when people are expected to live THREE days without water.

Israel, as the video points out is on the other side of the world and the U.S. is right next to Haiti. Yet Israel is all set up and operating.

One person in this video says, "Makes you almost embarrassed to be an American."

You know on 3-day temporary agreements the United States has taken control of the Haiti airstrip to coordinate air traffic. NOW I'm thinking perhaps Israel should be in charge of that too.

I VOTED for President Obama but there is a limit to good intentions. When he tells Haiti (borrowing the words of GOD) that they will not be forsaken - he must mean

whoever is left after we let thousands die who could have lived if they could have had water, antispetics, antibiotics, or an amputation.

He means Haiti people IN GENERAL, conceptually, in the long run... not individuals with names, families or who had hope when they when they were unearthed from the rubble.
