Japanese food favorite; dashi maki. Firm scrambled egg roll. Children love it! A standard on any sushi platter.

  • i wish i have a japanese mother~ :))

  • Dashi is soup stock.

In case of this roll egg omelette,

I use commercial granule Dashi usually.

Kombu or bonito or both.Kombu is seaweed.A bonito is a fish.

  • what is dashi?

  • @TheOneSpam geesh I was just trying to be helpful. Give other people an education about sushi that might not have known that. I never said you were retarded thanks for assuming. Also i quoted the wiki so people could get a proper definition of it rather than a mock up job that i could do. I prefer to be accurate and informed. From now on though i guess i will just let people remain dumb. Excuse me for trying to teach something and be nice about it.

  • @begothprincess

I know that. That wasn't even my main point. Regardless, I was trying to compare typical Japanese nigirizushi and what many Americans consider sushi (typically some sort of makizushi like California roll or whatever)

It's like you're trying to say that hamburgers are not cows, but rather contain cows. I am not retarded, but that you for pointing out the obvious. Oh and great job quoting a wiki page. That really proved you know what you're talking about.

  • @TheOneSpam Actually sushi is not raw fish, that is Sashimi.

From wiki: Sushi is a food of Japanese origin consisting of cooked vinegared rice (shari) combined with other ingredients (neta). Neta and forms of sushi presentation vary, but the ingredient which all sushi have in common is shari. The most common neta is seafood.

Raw meat sliced and served by itself is sashimi.

  • That takes forever, I'll just be practical and stick with scrambled eggs >=]

  • unless you are a vegetarian, SHUT THE FUCK UP. (and I mean a vegetarian that doesn't eat fish since there are so many different breeds of you fukers)

Fact is that fish is DEAD. A chicken with it's head cut off also runs around frantically. There are no pain because the BRAIN is not connected to the NERVES.

If you don't eat raw fish, you are a fag anyways. American sushi is not sushi.

  • I thought the title was obama XD

  • 20dislike should go die... xD
