  • cool

  • opera mini is much faster on my n97 mini.. if it wasn't for the flash content thing it would be perfect... I use both tho..

  • I agree with you, but the reviewer said that it's faster, not better. Skyfire is a pretty damn annoying browser.

  • I have been using Opera Mini for years on my Windows Mobile PDA phones. It's the clearest to read, the fastest zoom, and certainly far more usable than the bloated Mobile version. I wonder why the reviewer does not show zoom in skyfire; it'd show up how slow it is. I beg to differ in his conclusion that Skyfire is better. For news reading and general browsing (flash aside) it's the best browser there is for PDAs and mobile phones. Only missing feature is ability to copy text.

  • No privacy exist with skyfire, they will steal all your navegation cookies and personal data.

  • skyfire is badass , but on WVGA display its very pixelated , looks like crap

  • I'm trying to get esmertec on my treo pro. does anyone have a link or file they'd care to share?

  • Why not opera mini loads things like myspace, gmail, google searches in 3-5 seconds. Skyfire is good for youtube and flash and thats about it, theres no reason not to have both.

  • Exactly opera mini is a java based browser NOT MEANT FOR FLASH. You cant compare the two. And yes its a windows mobile browser, just because theres different versions for PPC and smartphone doesnt define what the app is as a whole. Smart phone is still the class name for bigger phones like iphone, symbians smart phones windows mobile. Just because windows went off renaming there pro edition to PPC doesnt mean it isnt a smartphone.

  • also skyfire isnt for smart phones, it's also for Pocket PC and works pretty much exactly like a PPC browser...

Just because it is compatible with smartphone phones doesnt mean its a smartphone browser. its a PPC browser.
