  • "...there stood Joan Crawford with Ms Bancroft's oscar clutched to her bossom." XD

  • LEGEND!!!

  • The more that I think about it, it really was cheap and petty what Joan did to Bette regarding Bette's nomination for Baby Jane. Joan was just sour grapes that she was not nominated. Everybody and their mother knows that Bette should've won that year.

  • @mlyn1982 I think late 1986 or 1987

  • What year is this?

  • This really shows what a tough, yet classy woman Bette was. Despite having endured a double masectomy, a stroke, and a broken hip, she put vanity aside and still willingly appeared in public to show that she was still alive and kicking, much to the delight of her adoring fans. Let's face it, Miss Crawford would've never done such a thing. Conversely, she went into hiding when her health started to fail, but not Bette.

  • @marinello6 Bette was a very great actress. She had a lying daughter, which was only copying another liar by the name of christina. She did give charity. If you care so much for charity, give your paycheck to whatever charity you would like to. Wait, you won't? That's what a I thought. She did give charity as so did all of the movie stars, and maybe because 1,000 dollars then is 10,000 dollars now. So you do the math. At the end of he life, she a series of strokes and last a heart attack, which

  • She reminds me of a much happier more energetic version of my grandmother. ;-)

  • Bette was the epitome of class. And, you can't buy class, you have to be born with it.
