@iabsoriw433 possibly because: 1.The Evo 3d is newer and 2.The evo 4g has a 1 ghz single core processor and the evo 3d has a 1 ghz dual core processor.

1. root your phone ( if not already)
2. after downloading rom transfer rom via usb cable to main directory
3. reboot phone into recovery ( hold down volume button and power button)
4. wipe cache , wipe dalvik cache , and wipe data factory reset
5. now choose which rom to flash and flash the rom
6. work your way in the recovery back to the reboot menu and reboot
7. follow on screen instructions
