  • @andrewmcca singular or plural, who cares? it's a technique, and of course, there are several pizzicati... but the technique is called pizzicato, so either you say this technique is multiple times used or this technique is being used in this piece.

  • @Ainigma On the manuscript copy, it is labelled Pizzicati. This is the actual name that Delibes chose for the piece, "Pluckings", as an intermezzo in the ballet Sylvia. Do not spread false information about the real name versus the popular name of a piece of music again.
