  • I am nort Jewish, and never will be one. But kind of like the sound of the shofar, Reminds me of the french horn.

  • @Bruno53ification Why would you say you would never be Jewish ? Are you a follower of Jesus ? Well you know he is Jewish :)

  • my friend this is a beautiful instrument. may i ask, how do you control the pitch?

  • @xn6The principal method for raising pitch is to reduce the effective vibrating mass of the upper lip. This is accomplished by an upward push of the bottom lip. As the upward pressure exerted by the bottom lip on the top lip increases, the amount of top lip tissue available to vibrate becomes progressively smaller, the top lip becoming more and more "immobilized" as those parts of it, especially nearest the mouthpiece rim, become relatively stationary.

  • very very nice to play this i suppose you need to buzz your lips as you would for a trumpet or vuvuzella the soccer horn

  • @ZECHRAH Amen! speak the truth!

  • @ZECHRAH I'm a Christian and one day will see you Heaven brother.

  • I noted that that was quite a long shofar, yet it had a high pitch, do different sized horns have different pitches?

  • @ZECHRAH I am an atheist. But also a classical music fan.

  • @ZECHRAH it's 2012. It is more likely that he doesn't believe in any religion. Music is something real

  • cont. 2, opened the curtains and only saw snow. I looked into the heavens and heard the sound of many chariot wheels, it sounded like when tanks are on the move, and a voice said "A war is coming." A few months ago I read the book "Heaven is for Real," and towards the end of this book the boy tells his father "A war is coming." The same message given to me last winter. There are only 2 more blows, alarming sound the enemy is approaching, and the Trumpet of G-d. We are about to go home.

  • I have heard the two sounds of the shofar already. The 1st was in 2010 while I was staying at the Mt. Zion Hotel, I heard the sound at 3:00 a.m., was told to get up, annoint myself, and go pray. I did so, and that morning G-d gave the most beautiful sunrise ever seen by anyone that worked in the hotel. The 2nd Shevarim I heard last winter 2011. Around 3:24-3:26 a.m., I was told to get up and look at my backyard. I hesitated, and again the voice repeated itself. I got up, opened the curtain

  • @ZECHRAH yes but he started a new faith, just like buddha used to be hindu but founded buddhism, muhammed was a traditional bedhouin and founded islam, john calvin founded calvinism, luther the lutherans, one of the patriarchs of byzantium orthodox christianity, etc... and yes i know christianity and islam in all forms stem from judaism oh perfectionists sorry if some of my spelling is off ;)
