  • Kjeller? Guess you are Norwegian then ;)

  • @gitargud7 Yes :)

  • Great footage! Did you add another microphone to the FX1 for it?

  • Thanks ;-) Yes i added a Sony stereo mic. ECM-S959C. Later i will go for a pro shotgun mic.

  • Put your glasses on ;-)

  • when exactly was the sound barrier broken in this vid

  • You can hear it. He is flying faster than the speed of sound(i was there). You do not always, need to have a wapor cone, to break the sound barrier.

  • Despite advances in fighter technology i still think the F-16 is one of the most awesome fighters in the world. Thanks for posting!

  • The speed was .99 Mach just before coming over the airfield, and I then throttled back. The speed passing the crowd was .98 Mach.

    Thanks for posting

  • Han bryter ikke selve lydmuren. Det riktige er at piloten var oppe i .99 Mach.

Hvis piloten hadde dratt på 0,01 Mach ville ha brytet lydnmuren og knust et par ruter.

    Var der jeg også.

  • Aww damn I want to become a F16 pilot in Holland <3... Yes I'm Dutch ^^.

  • @Kjellern150 What do you mean? You were the pilot in this clip?

  • Thanks for the inforrmation.

  • Hi Robotman.

If it realy did the 1,0 the f-16 has some unike carakteristica in that hi humidity airmass whits is pressent on the video.

Arount ,98 or ,99 shockvawes start apearing arount the canopy, air intake and trailing edges. Not pressent here. What you hear is just the normal high pass sound of a fighter. The sonic boom consist of two booms. Hard to hear on that close distance, but not pressent. Sorry

  • Ow no it's a flyby. You hear that in the video: F-16 Flyby. But nice video.

  • Why it's not the sound barrier. You hear nothing and than you hear the sonic boom. That is in here. At 1:12 you hear that.

I ask it for the second time: Why it's not the sound barrier.

  • yeah.
