@Realgenius1023 I ended going with a front loaded dual 18 inch PRG Audio cab, i needed something big and powerful for my live sound events and bigger DJ gigs. I loaded my woofers and as it turns out, they no longer work! As mentioned before they are the old models, i guess they were pushed to hard. I'm saving for new woofers but not to be purchased for awhile. For now i wanna go with single 18 subs to match my JBL MR tops, I was thinking the new MRX would match my old MR, thoughts on this?

@DJRuss96 Black Widow cones are not suited for high pressure loading. Peavy made some folded horn products in the past FH-1 and FH2 which used 15" Black widows. They were notorious for shreding the paper cones when run at full power and if you used them at a outdoor event with high humidity, rain or overnight fog it would soften the cones and they would blow out within minutes of putting any decent amount of power on them. Stick to front loading Black Widows, especialy old ones!

@sleeperawaken36 if they really are that efficient then what have heard about negative expansion turning any horn before it into throat chamber simply isn't true which is more than possible but im sure you can see why some one might think it would be detrimental to the impedence matching effect. yeah heard of
fitzmaurice a few times :)

@sleeperawaken36...is there a big diference between those 2 drivers.....you know comparing the Kappa Pro-15LF-2, to the 3015lf...can you really hear the diference.....its just so hard to choose...cause if i get the 3015lf i dont have to bridge my amp and if i ge the Kappa Pro-15LF-2 i have to cause of their higher wattage....plus the Kappa Pro-15LF-2 are $150 on ebay.....thanks
Would this cab be good with a Peavey Black Widow 18?

@DJRuss96 : No. It's got the wrong specs, and it's too big to fit into a Titan 48. The Titan 48 takes a 15 only.

@sleeperawaken36 Oh okay, thank you. I have 2 older Black Widow 18s waiting to have cabs built. In your personal preference which do you think would be better in the end, building your own cab or buying a pre built empty cab? Thanks!

@DJRuss96 : Oh, that's totally a matter of personal preference, time, and money....HA! If I had the money, I'd have probably had someone build these for me, as I seem to always be short on time.... and to be honest, a carpenter is going to produce a box that looks a bit cosmetically superior... but if you are already a good carpenter, and you enjoy the process and have the time, you might prefer to build yourself... or if you just don't have the money.

@indestructible306 : I was going to ask you why not just get the recommended Kappalite 3015LF, but then I went and looked at the current price. Holy crap, they are at nearly twice the price as they were just months ago. Not sure what happened there. Kappa Pro-15LF-2 should be decent. I loaded mine with Peavey Low Riders, and they are a tight fit but good option, with the same 9.6mm Xmax as the Kappalite 3015LF's, just heavier.
