when you are attack the victim machine, can you explain to me what actually happened?? is it you are sending maximum echo request?? or is it something else?? i am doing this for my school project so, please explain it to me...thanks!

@Lazier23 The DoS is using "port binding" it the software will probe for open ports on the victim, then attacking computer will bind all traffic (inbound/outbond) to the attacking machine re-routing all data sent over the "service ports, and listening ports" This is attack is designed for stealh. Hint load wireshark on the victim prior to starting the attack, and you will get a bigger picture.

@Damaruth Yes you can mask your MAC address, as well as IP Address, using the spoofing plugins within ettercap. Cain also has the functionality. Would i recommend is never log your attack, and use "disposable network cards".
