Gran Turismo 5 - S. Vettel Challenge - X2010 - Monza - Bronze - Dual Shock

By far one of the most difficult challenges in the game, if you want the Platinum trophie, get a wheel, it's just impossible to do it with a regular controller, because the car is way to fast and requires a very smooth driving that a Dual Shock can't do.

Driving it with the controler is like driving a normal Formula car, but with the D-Pad. So, if you want to do this, good luck. This is done with a standard Dual Shock controler, no assists, no wheel, just pure driving and a lot of patience, I've used the 3rd person view, HUDs all on.

Total bronze time: 2.10.500
First lap target: 1.07.000 or lower
Second lap target (Identical but not from the pits): 1.03.500 or lower
My time on the first lap was: 1.06.905

good job dude, ive watched all three of your x1 challenge vids. im very impressed. i just got to this challenge a couple days ago, and i think its the hardest thing ive tried in ANY video game. EVER. the fact i spend most of my time drifting doesnt help either. ;) ive only finished this track twice, both times i was about 1.5 or 2 seconds off bronze. the other billion times, i hit the wall or ruined the grass. :p

Did this one bronze with a original Sixaxis controller. my time was 2:15. i did it in like 30 mins. this race.

nice driving look at my vid using the controller with no assist all and i did it driving in the cockpit view. Best way to roll :) and i got gold on it by 2 tenths.

@boybetanow lol it took me about an hour to do all three with my driving force GT, CONTROLLER SUX i mean for fucks sake the cars we drive today aren't fitted with ps3 dual shock controllers are they, they have steering wheels, some spakas might have a joystick but thats worse than the dual shock PEOPLE GET A STEERING WHEEL IF YOU DONT WANT TO SPEND WEEKS TRYING TO GET THIS CAR

why you have to use the D-pad? I'm good with the F10, and I saw a guy in youtube getinggold with the ps3 controller.
