  • is that sybil shepard?

  • Yep.

  • I don't know what's the matter with people hating this film. It's really what I imagined the book to be. Cybill did justice with Daisy. Barry was great, by the way. ;)

  • I agree :)

  • whats the name of the girl playin daisy?

  • Cybill Shepherd.

  • she's really pretty ans she has a great voice :)

  • Cybill was a great model; not ever a great actress.

  • i have to write a compare and contrast essay on daisy miller and the beast in the jungle and idk how to start it

  • @AmericanEvita Daisy Miller was supposed to be a silly teenage girl. But I do agree that Cybil talked too fast, it wasn't quite natural.

  • I love this movie, and this is one of the best scenes. (The two guys were very handsome!)

  • This book was incredible. I was really moved by it.

  • I love the Henry James novella & this was a beautiful looking film but Cybil Shepherd was miscast. She seems uncomfortable in a period film; her singing voice isn't at all pretty for this scene; the way she talks in many scenes is TOO FAST, the way a silly teenage girl talks. Daisy Miller is an adult young woman in her 20's but she sounded too much like a kid to me. They should have cast Mia Farrow (who was playing another Daisy - the Daisy in Great Gatsby

  • I saw this movie earlier today. And from what I saw and heard the reviews, it's like watching paint dry.

  • @shizamalik2 To put it simply, you asked for the criticism you received by stating your opinions like they were facts.

  • @shizamalik2 Why not? People do it all the time, interesting or dull. You're certainly wasting your life complaining about how "yucky" the man is. Again, saying someone is "yucky" and stating it like it's a fact, is just obnoxious.

Freedom of speech applies to me too little girl, which means I have every right to criticize why I think your opinion bullshit.

Stating your opinions like their facts calls for criticism, remember that next time.
