Day 3 at NAMM and the news keeps on flowing. This post is most special to us as I was able to meet Roger Linn him self and get an exclusive demo of his new drum machines he created in partnership with Dave Smith Instruments called "Tempest." As expected, Roger Linn is ever the innovator with some really neat features offered here. Watch the video for the full walk through from the designer himself.

If you don't care for the price and avoid it, that's a good thing. It's like keeping the low-lifes out of the better neighborhoods. I'll buy a few extra and after they aren't available anymore, I'll sell one to you for $10K when (and if) you're simple mind comes around.

This thing looks like it has the potential to be fantastic but we will have to wait to check out some user demos to see what it's actually like because you can't ever really judge a synth or drum machine by the factory demos.
