We used to play up the rocks when we were kids. River jumping in the summer, and snowdrift jumping in the winter. Ahhhh the memories.

Wouldn't get me down there! Did I hear a yellowhammer tweeting just before the end of the video? A very pretty place, apart from the tunnel.

Am not too sure what a yellowhammer sounds like, but when the sun shines again I'm going right on the tops of Bacup Moors to record some tunes ,with some Meadow Pippets and skylarkes as the background singers.
