@cyclekarl That's also what a buddy who owns the E2370 told me, it lasts at least 2 weeks for him. Lot of phone calls, SMS etc...

I'm tempted to buy it as a second phone to replace my E1130B (still in great shape and awesome basic phone but I'll give it to my father who needs a second phone).

@RoboticGiggles Depends on what you need. As far as I know the E2370 has superior battery life. Of course it's not quadband or much else.

But works for most people. Even while practising sports I never dropped a phone into water, I rarely need high speed internet while in the mountains (anyway no 3G out there), I do not burry my phone into mud either.

Also I would trust samsung's compass/altimeter. Would you?

However I think having some extra juice to call emergencies is more useful to me.

Looks like a decent handset, but why go for this phone with IP-54 when you can get the

Samsung B2710 with IP-67 and lots more features like being waterproof, dustproof (not just dust resistant). The B2710 has a digital compass, 2 megapixel camera, 3G and lots more! I know which one I'm going for!! :)

I have the B2700 i can tell u that phone is great ! I did a lot of mistakes with it that no other phone can take ... and its still alive :D also it have slot for a max 8gb and that is totaly great ... :) i bought it just because is hard to brake it and have a lot of usufull extras + the big memory slot cause i listen a lot of music : )

@MyChemicalJasper483 All those phones are good, so it's hard to say. This one have's great battery life, and stand by time. Normally mu Nokia with 1000 mAh dies in 1 - 2 days, and my e2370 stays more than 2 weeks. Bad things in this phone is the camera, 0.3 megapixels. And this is only IP-54 certification. B2100 is IP-57, what makes me happy and so on. The camera in B2100 is nice, 1.3 megapixel. And the b2700.. this is IP-54, and 2 megapixel camera, and alot more features. So B2100 or B2700.

my samsung e1110 does have a calendar but i can't put any reminder in it!

just a basic simple calendar.
