Can you send me a copy of the coding you used, My friend is doing something simular for his seminar project and he is unable to get his phone to communicate with the robot. He is tring to bypass the computer and just go straight to the robot. Can this even be done or is he just wasting his time. Also his coding is in JAVA, I don't know if that is the wrong way to do it or not.
Any information you can give me will help.

@HazardOfExistance Hi, I actually didn't program the robot at all. My phone (N6300) would just sent an instruction for servo C to run, etc. Also, the computer is connected to my HTC(which acts as a Wifi webcam), I'm not sure how he would like to "skip" this part.

So if I understand correctly, you just have a wireless wifi webcam on your robot that's connected to your computer, not the robot?

@Lizard381 yes, that's correct. The NXT chip wouldn't handle that much data at reasonable fps.
