  • Mr.Abraham, you are a professional journalist. Yes I know you support Obama, however simply saying "excellent speech" and pretty much praising his address to the nation in every way, like through the tweets I saw is just kind of unprofessional and not objective. I think you should maybe try to rethink this and say "this is what Iiked", "this is what I didn't like he said" , "and this I am not sure about". Don't sell yourself short as Obama's fanboy.

  • @StopFear Time out. I have never called myself a professional journalist, and I don't want to be one. I'm a professional video blogger. Bloggers by nature are not supposed to be objective. I find that people laps into this "you are a professional journalist" jazz whenever I say something they don't agree with. Just say you don't agree, and avoid trying to remake history to fit your World view.

  • Nationalist? My ass! He's a communist and doesn't give a damn about our nation!! Nationalist!! What a joke!

Sorry, I didn't have enough space, just to finish my point, the Trade Enforcement Unit is connected with his previous comment "It's not right when

another country lets our movies, music, and software be pirated." Then mentions China. Whether it is China or not, it is for one questionable that American Enforcement Unit should have a right to enforce anything in a foreign country, so the outcome I see is it will be limitations on internet here. Just my opinion.

  • @zennie62 Ok, I didn't mean to offend you. I just thought your position was that bloggers are journalists. I think you had a vlog where you argued that point. But maybe it was the other way around. Either way, you are free to express any opinion that you may have. To me it just seems there is no way to like everything in the president's speech. I in particular did not like creation of Trade Enforcement Unit which is basically another Sopa...

  • @zennie62 a reporter just tells you what happend, a school caught fire, a car crashed, a team scored.

A Blogger tells us "what that means to them"

a Blogger fills in the story with his own "context",

Bloggers give their opinion of the news that the reporter cant share.

as in:, "Who suffers the most because of the school fire"

  • @StopFear I think you got the wrong idea about Zennie. Zennie supports the President, and seeks for him to do well and to be seen as having done well.

He is a Blogger, not Eric Sevareid

    Its a different job.

  • a State Of The Union Speech tends to be written by a room filled with people , each with their own different concerns.

The reviews I have seen say it was a good speech for an election year.

He did not seem to make any errors, and the call for spending was expected.
