  • The oil didn't fix it. What you actually did was just added more oil. Vq's burn a lot of oil. Keep a close eyeon your look oil level.

  • what causes this?

  • Change the oil, to spec

  • knocking usually means spun rod bearing, check oil for metal flakes, usually gold color

  • um, I know I'm going to get called some bad words cuz I'm going to say this, but I do it all the time on my cars. But I would try motor flush, if you don't change your oil (not saying you don't) it causes issues like this. Also I have had issues where if you use the same engine oil for a really long time, even if you change it, it starts to stick together even after changes. I do it to my cars every few oil changes just to keep the gunk for sticking together.

  • just by hearing the sound of the no one can predict the cause of knocking well its piking sound that's travel between the combustion chamber you should service your car in nearby service center.

the main causes of this problem are

    high compression ratio

over heating of the piston block may be the lack of lubrication

there may the carbon formation in the fuel injector which get heated up and becomes the secondary source for preheating. ultimately cases the runaway knocking

  • Oh Yes the Amazing Knocking noise. I had the same problem with my G. I hate to say it but you have one or more spun rod barring. There are a few ways you are able to go about fixing the car, replace the spun barring (for temp fix) or build the bottom end (strong forged internals). Either way the motor is going to have to be ripped apart so if you have the extra cash build it.

  • piston pin

  • 91 octane?
