Galaxyland Express Miniature Railway

A ride and tour of the miniture railway ride in West Edmonton Mall Canada. Before the late 90's this train used be known as the Fantasyland Express and it had a steam-train looking engine called "Tatoo" The cars used to to painted red. The mountain tunnel used to be a "haunted mine" but was converted to an alien filled cave. The elevated structures/bridges used to be brown but repainted purple over the years.

I remember riding this when I was 7 and "right now" thinking to myself I swore there was a ghost that jumped out at the end of the tunnel that I am sure freaked me out. Glad to read I wasn't imagining things.

Mabey they moved the haunted themed eqiument to the walk through haunted castle in the park.

I have no idea so just gonna have ask the ride operator if you ever go there to measure you if they have a red line that someone has to tall as.

@canadiancatgreen yea when you enter the tunnel you are on one side of the play ground, then you go threw the second time you come out of a diffrent door and you are on the other side of the play ground. when it was still the fantasty land express I was about 6 and it took a few times for me to figure it all out.

@ryfan79 they changed it to fit the Galaxland theme..Disney wanted to sue West Edmonton Mall if they didn't change the parks name from Fantasy Land to something else. I told my mom why didn't West Edmonton Mall sue Disney for stealing their name.

@SPS148669 nice shot. I had same vidoe at Glaxyland and WEM but not as sophisticated as yours. Maybe you use your cameracorder but mine was an Iphone.
