Keep It Real: Chapter3 Part3

Jessie's POV

3 words: He. Is. Cute. No, wait, 4 words. He. Is. Really. Cute. No, wait, back to 3 words. He. Is. Hot. Either way I think about it, I'm thinkin' 'bout Joe. I was having a bad day at work, and working over-time, until all of a sudden, this guy randomly shows up in a room only employees are supposed to be in, and now I'd consider it a pretty good day. After I gave Joe my dad's suit, he asked me why I couldn't just take it home to give to my dad. I told him what my dad had told me on the phone earlier, "I'm not mad about that boy spilling wine on my suit. But I still don't think he sould get away with nothing." Well, I guess my dad's plan was ruined because "that boy" made his brother get the suit instead. But I'm sure glad he did, otherwise I wouldn't have met Joe. We talked a little bit longer, and not only was he very good looking, he had the best personality. He was fun to talk to, and he was really funny. I was cracking up the whole time I was with him, and that doesn't usually happen. Usually, I'm the one cracking everyone up. But don't worry, I still got him to laugh plenty of times. And I love his laugh. Okay, getting off topic. Anyway, we soon decided it was getting late and he walked me out of MG Design to the parking lot. Right before I got in my car, I gave him my phone number and told him to call me some time. I hope I didn't make myself look stupid. I'm known to do that a lot. But I really want him to call, because I think I really like him (can you tell by how I've been describing him?) I'm just worried he doesn't like me. Well, only time will tell. For now, all I can do is hope. -Jessie

I close my diary and put it in the drawer of my bedside table. Yes, I still write in a diary. Not, like, everyday. Only when something important or memorable happens. And I consider Joe important and memorable. ;) I get in bed and clap my hands to turn off the lights. I think back to when I got home and started talking to my sisters, who were watching TV in the theater room. We do this thing every night where we tell each other what we did that day. Just to clue each other in. Alexa went first. She told me that she got the job at Pinkberry. (Sam already knew because Alexa had told her right when she got home from getting the job. I had already left for work.) (AN. Jessie doesn't always work on Saturdays, or late at night: only when they're really busy at MG Design, like they happen to be now.) She also told us about the guy who will be sharing her shift with her, Nick. She said he was supposed to be really nice. But the whole time she was telling us this, I couldn't stop thinking about what flavor I was going to buy at Pinkberry the next time I went there. Then it was my turn, and I told Alexa and Sam everything that happened to me today. How busy work was and everything, the call from dad, which they also happened to think was funny, and I definitely didn't leave out Joe. I pretty much replayed our whole conversation back at MG Design, or at least the parts I could remember. I think they could tell I really like him. They also reassured me that he WOULD, call, which made me feel a little better. Next it was Sam's turn. She said she ate, then watched TV, then ate some more, than went for a walk....to Starbucks, then watched some more TV. I congradulated her on such a successful day.
I start trying to block out all my thoughts so i can catch some z's. It's not long after that I fall asleep.

PLEASE COMMMENT!!!! I know this part was REALLY boring, but I wanted to give you look inside Jessie's mind. I'm already starting the next chapter, but I probably won't post it til tomorrow.
