GK Review: 1/8 Ayanami Rei Race Queen ver. (E2046 recast)

I always wanted to own a resin figure but never ordered one. Recently I've rediscovered a homepage selling recasted Garage Kits called e2046.
So I ordered a figure of one of my favorite anime charakters. It's the 1/8 scale version of Evangelions Ayanami Rei in Race Quuen outfit. This Resin Kit was initially released by Kotobukiya in 2003 (i think) but is out of stock now. There is also a finished PVC version of her.
But as I don't collect finished models but complete unfinished ones it was no point getting the prepainted PVC version (although it would have cost roughly the same...).
I'm very pleased with the Resin itself (never touched resin) and am amazed by the quality of the re-cast.

Don't know when I will start work on her...

Ich hab das Kit auch ^^ allerdigs als Thai-Kit von ebay. war günstiger xD ich bau sie gerade zu einer Suu aus Clover (clamp) um ^^ deine schaut richtig gut aus ^^

machts du sie in den original farben?

Zu den Farben habe ich noch nichts entschieden. Ein paar Stunden rumstöbern und Race Queen Bilder angucken hat auch nicht viel ergeben.

Vielleicht benutze ich auch einfach die Farben des Plug-Suits (wiso auf solch eine stupide Idee noch keiner gekommen ist?!?).

Ich werde bei Gelegenheit ein wenig mit Photoshop herumspielen und testen, was gut ausschaut.
