1) It wasn't his house, it wasn't his belongings.
2) The burglars never attempted to break into Joes house.
3) The law states "You have a right to defend YOUR OWN PROPERTY."
4) The dispatcher repeatedly told Joe to not do it
5) Joe had the intent and desire to kill from the start
6) Joe never attempted to stop them, just went out and shot them
Property can be replaced, thats what insurance is for. I dont see how this is justified

@PumpingSmashkins So you're going to put a value on everyone's possessions? They are mine, I will decide if they're worth stealing or not. Criminals ought to know they'll get shot when they do, isn't it just better not to steal then? No loss of life OR possessions. Too bad these criminals didn't have your same style of thinking.

See, I value the life of leeching, stealing, drug-pushing, do-nothing dregs-of-society career criminals caught in the act of stealing another's hard-earned property somewhat less than that of an upstanding citizen with the decency to defend a neighbor and prevent a crime.
