Ted Coffey has developed a custom application (using Cycling '74's Max/MSP) that makes numerous vocal analysis and resynthesis techniques available for real-time vocal and manual control. The patch, "Ecce Vox", was created for live performances and to generate material for the five pieces in his Blue Cycle. The first installment in the cycle, "Noise" has been completed.
