Microsoft IntelliPoint v6.1 Memory Leak

UPDATE: Microsoft has -finally- updated IntelliPoint to v6.2 [6.20.0182.0000]
The new version fixes the bug mentioned below.

Just check ipoint.exe's memory usage.

Each time I open & close the magnifier window, the ipoint.exe beautifully leaks a couple of megabytes of RAM...

And this has been going on for so long [since Intellipoint v6.1's launch]

And the funny thing is, Microsoft updated its mouse line with newer
models without even considering to fix this easy-to-fix bug in Intellipoint v6.1...

So, next time you go out and buy a new MS mouse with a ~80$ price tag, keep in mind that the software that comes with it is still buggy.

I have the same problem with drivers for IntelliPoint for Apple Mac OS X!

The kernel_task process eat about 1.5G from RAM and then the whole system crash...
