The Test: At the binding of Yitzchak, Avraham accepted entirely G-ds will. Being willing to sacrifice ones own life for the sanctification of G-ds name, is a deep and undeniable character trait of the people of Israel. But the true test is not only being willing to die for our beliefs, but being willing to live for G-d, and walk in the ways of His Torah.

You to remember that the early part of Christianity / Hebrew European Churches were to follow the Cannonized Bible, and that Judiasm was not allowed in the Roman Empire ,In my Fathers House there is many Mansions,The Apostles were speaking in Tounges, and thier mission to deliver people from the Bondage of sin in the world,to be worthy to stand before the Lamb of GOD,But also for them to return to thier Father the gift he has given them, his Word. That it will be a testimony for all ages, the Law

the writings of Paul are suspect and are not accepted by Jews..and as for the Greek translation..don't you think it would be better to look at the Hebrew translation for correct meaning?

people will always talk about yeshua dying on the cross, but never the ten Tzdek's during the destruction of the 2nd temple.

yes you are definitely right, hence all mankind are gods children, Israel is the single unique first born.

"I have said, Ye are gods; all of you are children of the most High" (Psalms 82:6). I agree with you Hotrap that the chosen are sons of God. "The only begotten" denotes Yeshua's uniqueness. Some translations are the "unique son." From the Greek monogenēs meaning, single of its kind and/or only. That doesn't mean the 'only' son but the only unique son. Read the Gospels and writings of Paul if you want to understand his uniqueness. I can give you a hint in that he is called Emmanuel (Matt. 1:23).

How is he the " only begotten son" when god told moses to tell Pharaoh to free the nation of Israel his first born? all the jews are gods first born children . so since Christ is served because hes "gods son" why not serve all the jews ?
