@kjjohng No, this was in 1972. The Blues Brothers weren't even invented yet.
-
Was that the blues brothers ban behind him?

Love this man. Love him!

DaThe first concert I went to as a teenager...JJ Cale, BB King, and Steely Dan opened for Leon...what an introduction to the world of live music...the reefer and wine was good too!
-
went to see him in Detroit area in early 70s..[though he did not play any of our favorites that night], love everything he recorded!

@kingfucter "when the baby looks around him, such a sight to see, he shares a simple secret with the wise men." Merry Christmas!

@judecreek2 Help!! LoL... I can make out everything he's singing, except @ about 0:42 if anybody knew, it would be you :)

Leon rules. Sideman induction was B.S. Rock hall of fame should correct this .he is one of the greatest solo artists of all time
Leon is truly great. I saw him 3 times live and have worn out all his albums. Truly one of a kind. It is a shame that some people don't get it. Today's youth really missed out. The Leon of the 70s was as good as anyone ever. Long life to you, Leon.

Yeah, Leon could start a revival and not even mention the word "Jesus"!
