how can u play cod4 on windows 7 it dont work?

You need to set it as administrator then run call of duty as a windows xp app. This is one thing that i hate about windows 7. if you dont do this you will get blue screen and or memory dump.

mine runs on windows7 but has two black bars at side how do i run it as windows xp app?

Right click Call Of Duty, Click on Properties, Click on Compatilbility Tab, Click Box under Compatibility Mode then select Windows Xp (Service Pack3), Click Apply and enjoy game!
