Who are the aggressors: Atheists or Theists?

Bad Christians go to heaven and good Atheists burn in hell for eternity.
Do theists really believe that the only way people can be good is to believe in God and his threat of eternal torture.
Being good I guess, has nothing to do with cause and effect.
Simply living your life by the golden rule is not good enough.
Who has been the aggressor?
Well, if you look back in history you will find that the theists far out murder and torture any atheists, by far.
Theists saying that Atheists are evil and immoral doesn't surprise me one bit.
Evidence to the contrary means nothing to them.
Theists can believe in all kinds of things that make no sense, they have faith.
If you could reason with religious people; there would be no religious people.

Intolerant atheists are simply responding to intolerant theists. But theists just think it's all the atheists being big meanies all the time. Like a child who goes around kicking the family dog until the dog bites back... Suddenly it's the dog who's the asshole, not the child who provoked it.

@Zolio6 Yes although I am not a total atheist my self I have to agree that you should have the right to your own beliefs or the lack of. and your opinions as long as you respect others opinions as long as they do not try to shove it down your throat . In either case your not alone because prejudice shows we have not evolved beyond existing animal characteristics , Who knows if humans survive all the air , water, and food Pollutants we may continue to evolve or adapt.

I mean after all if one thinks something came from nothing and they find that logical then i am convinced they have cracked under a great deal of religious pressure. I am sure you all wonder what convoluted obtuse reason I could have for believing there is a conscious cause to everything? especially since i have no reason to believe i am going to heaven or hell. And yes we could well have been formed by a process like evolution. But call me naive "and you will ,among a plethora of other things" As far as been our experience something usually comes from something else. Let me know of any experiment done to prove otherwise.

I really sympathize with atheists ! But Do not let a bunch of mindless idiots convince you that everything comes from nothing. I believe there there is some sort of "INTELLIGENCE " By that I literary mean intelligence. Not fairies and goblins. Be a scientist . Do you really think If some one created the universe they would act, think, or look like like all of the religious " gods " We humans have a hard time accepting a mind greater than ours. we cannot see outside our subjective reality .

It took me 6 damn years to "detox " from the incredible brainwashing they can do . And at this point Yes I can agree that religion in general has always been a fairy tail for a few reasons. I read a paper on a survey of Americans consisting of 2 questionnaires.

1) When asked if they went to church on Sunday the vast majority said yes.

2) When asked to detail what they did on every day of the week from waking to bedtime the figures for those who ACTUALLY went to church on Sunday fell to about 40%.

The reason was that church is part of the "cultural identity" of America so when asked as a single question they lied, probably without realising it 8-)
