To Keep the Sabbath?

Are we to keep the Sabbath as told to the children of Israel? In Hebrews the writer speaks of a REST that believers MUST enter just as God rested from His works on the seventh day so should born again believers...So lets examine to see what REST we shall enter and what WORKS we shall CEASE.

Matt.12:1-8...The PRIEST laboring in the TEMPLE were NOT bound by the SABBATH...In Christ, we all are PRIEST, laboring in the TEMPLE of the living God ...OUR BODIES. So if PRIESTS in Judaism laboring in a Temple made with HANDS were not bound. How much more would PRIESTS in Christ laboring in the TRUE Temple (HIS BODY)...NOT be bound. This is a simple teaching...SIN in the heart only confuses it.

dont think we fight the devil with the sabbath, only Spirit overcome spirit, its a Spiritual warfare, when faced with persecution, no one will list off the commandment and expect it to help them, it is having a personal relationship with Christ, like Paul and Silas, Stephen.. its not what we know, its whom we know.(man on the cross).. it is sooooooo late spiritually, we are to concentrate on sharing the Gospel and helping people know the voice of Jesus... people should note, the children of israel did not keep the commandments, they constantly drove God to destroy them, only Joshua of his generation entered the promised land, if i recall correct, God had to keep sending his chosen few who they wanted to kill becasue they were telling them how ungodly they were, eventually God divide and scattered them,even his own killed him so pay attention when refering to the law.. Jesus is who saves and knowing him, give heed to his Spiritual fruits... :)

and then if you visit a few sabbath keeping denormination you find they fight each other as none of them keep the sabbath, one heat up food, the other dont, and they see each other as breaking the sabbath or too strict people should pay attention, when Jesus says a house divided against itself shall not stand, it is God/ Christ they are all dividing against, sabbath ones, sunday ones, the devil dont divide against himself, Christians/religions do, Doctrines, so who they serving.... think.. hmmm

i hope sabbath keepers dont adapt the same spirit the Jews had. knowing the law and not knowing Christ is a rather deadly mix, one could find, with the threat of not being able to buy and sell, without the mark of the beast, lawkeepers could end up being lawbreakers, as in, thou shalt not kill..." the time cometh that whosoever killeth you, will think he doeth God service"... that rich man kept the law and didnt love his neigbour.. watch the LOVE it covers everything..spiritual warfare.

Lets quickly examine how you are not keeping the Sabbath>>James 2[10] For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is GUILTY OF ALL...Are you a woman?(1 Tim.2:12) Do you sin occasionally?(1 John 3:9) & (1 Peter 4:1,2) You can speak Sabbath all day long, your sin will send you to Hell...Repent, time is NEAR!
