Safe & Effective Antimicrobial Technology
Silver is impregnated into both the split septum silicone seal and internal blunt cannula which provides an even and continuous distribution of silver ions. Silver escapes into all areas surrounding the silicone including the internal fluid path and area between the silicone and housing.

The Antimicrobial MicroCLAVE demonstrated:

•Significant reduction in bacterial counts for a continued 96-hour use life on the surface of the septum.
•Greater than a 4-log kill and a 99.99% reduction rate for Gram positive and Gram negative strains.

The Antimicrobial MicroCLAVE was proven effective with four gram positive and two gram negative bacterial strains.
