I hear a mistake in the theme and -more important- in the chord-structure:
24-bar instead of 32 !

Yes, it is the flatted 5th, that makes it sound a little bit more bluesy....

Q: When your left hand goes to the E and A chord, and you playing the flatted 5th ? ie( E G# B C) and (A C# E F)
