Oh yeah, BTW, knowing Kid Rock he would have bought Hank Williams Jr. to the show so there's the missing something for everyone and that's pretty much all the types of music covered that was popular in 01 aside from Funk and all the funk scene's ever really had is the Chili Peppers who are kind of more alternative, kind of like Kid Rock.

And I still think my idea would have had the half time show panning out much much better Bitney, N'Suck, Aerosmith, Nelly, and MJB aern't really something for everyone. There's no new hip rocker on the bill. Aerosmith, Mariah Carey, Kid Rock or LB (Preferably Kid), Nelly, & MJB are. And everyone knows no one could out do Kid Rock working with Aerosmith aside from RUN DMC, Jason Aldean, and a few other country singers.

post cont. Not to mention the fact that Kid Rock did a much much better job singing Walk This Way at the VMA's with Stephen Tyler and Joe Perry. And I will give credit where credit is due, Britney "the shaved head drug addict" Spears and N'Suck were the thing at the time, but that was only because Biggie died. At that time Britney & N'Suck were hip because all the good bands from the 1990's either seemed to have sold out or broke up after Biggies death.

@tedkissel I agree, but Spears and N'Sync were more popular among the most of the kids at the time than Kid Rock or Carey. Were they popular and are they better? Yeah. But Spears and N'Sync were THE thing at the time. I do agree with your picks. I would have preferred that. But more kids tuned in/enjoyed.

No this didin't have something for everyone, because Britney Spears and N'Suck IE N'Sync suck so bad they shouldn't even be called music. I mean come one man lets just face the facts Aerosmith doing a halftime show with Mariah Carey, Kid Rock, Nelly, and Mary J Blidge would have been so much better and more of something for everyone. Aerosmith is one of the greatest groups ever and even though we had to endure the other crap, hey, there was something for everybody. That's what made this cool. The Peas are not for everybody.
