Actually, did not take long. I rigged it using 3dsMax..the Biped function.
You should try it. Easy and simple.
The animation was a Motion Capture I downloaded.

I used MATTES in 3dsMax, but I find it easier to do it in After Effects instead.

yes I rigged it using Biped in 3dsMax...then, I used a Motion Capture file for the walk. Easier than spending hours animating it for a short sequence
