How to make a refreshing and unique Moroccan ginger juice. In addition to its great flavor, ginger has many health benefits. It is used often as a remedy for the common cold, and has been shown to help with nausea and digestive problems. This recipe is a keeper for this winter!

The fresh ginger packs a punch and the flavor is just delicious.

  • @jacobh849 No, I'm sorry, but 6 tablespoons of sugar is WAY too much, even for a non-diabetic. Ginger and fresh fruit is okay, though. People today have an overdeveloped sweet-tooth from all those oversweetened soft drinks & candy. You really will pay dearly with your health for the sugary modern diet. (After decades of eating too much sugar, my skinny mother has developed type II diabetes. If she had eaten normal, natural foods, she probably wouldn't be on all those diabetic medications now.)

  • Ocarina of Time Potion Shop.

  • Nice Zelda Ocarina of Time music there.

  • If I don't try this it means I don't like myself lol

  • @MrsFery "Anyhow, you can always reduce the sugar or omit it if you prefer."

Which is what I said in my earlier coment. Americans get way too much sugar in their diet anyway. And it's not rich, decadent foods per se causing the problem. (Foie gras never killed anyone.) It's the refined carbs (especially fructose) and rancid "vegetable" oils that are wrecking their health.

  • @Ludlow889 If you buy a comparable all natural version, you're looking at 30grams of sugar/serving, and usually there are 2 servings/bottle. These facts are for 7servings/8oz ...If you actually try the recipe, you'll find it's just perfect. I love the facts: Serving Size 227 g Calories 103 Total Fat 0.6g1% Cholesterol 0mg0% Sodium 7mg0% Total Carbohydrates 25.5g9% Dietary Fiber 1.9g8% Sugars 17.3g Protein 1.1g Vitamin A 1% Vitamin C 58% Calcium 2% Iron 6% Nutrition Grade B+
  • @Ludlow889 true, though the likelihood of someone having serious health conditions from 2 packs of cigs/day , is much greater than someone eating 6T sugar/day. Sugar is not the culprit. Greedy people who are used to heavily rich decadent foods are the culprits. Anyhow, you can always reduce the sugar or omit it if you prefer.

  • @MrsFery Yeah, and there are people who smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day and live to be 96, but it's still not a good idea to smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day. Outliers, you know.

  • @MrsFery Yeah, if you just sip a small glass of it once or twice a day and no other sweetened drinks, no problem. Still, there's already plenty of fructose in the pineapple, so I wonder why bother throwing in the extra sugar. Yeah, this concoction definitely better than OJ/AJ/soda...but it's still got too much sugar to be drinking in large quantities.

  • @Ludlow889 y'all are funny...lol, you're analyzing the sugar in this recipe like she's suggesting that people gulp this stuff all day everyday. Something about Moroccans, for the most part they eat rather healthy and they don't eat a bunch of processed foods/meats, and most everything is organic, or close to it. So if someone drinks this, instead of the sugared OJ/AJ,Soda, and all the other crap we consume here, it might actually be a good trade off, with the 6T sugar...

  • @alejandromed22 sugar doesn't cancel the vitamins you take, however I would be more concerned with is the pineapple fresh or canned then I would obsess about 6T of sugar, and since this is a recipe, you could easily alter it to your preference.
